Problem

JobCloud AG, Switzerland's leading digital recruitment company, operates a portfolio of B2C and B2B products across jobs.ch, jobup.ch, and JobScout24.ch, serving more than 49,000 companies and millions of job seekers. Central to its offer are AI-powered tools, including candidate ranking, application filtering, and job matching, products that sit squarely within the EU AI Act's Annex III definition of high-risk AI systems in employment. With full high-risk obligations coming into force from August 2026, the company recognised it could not afford to wait. Its existing governance tooling was fragmented and could not provide the systematic risk assessments, technical documentation, and human oversight frameworks the regulation demands. Penalties for non-compliance reach 35 million euros or 7 percent of global annual turnover.

Solution

Rather than patch an ageing legacy platform, JobCloud made a strategic decision to adopt Modulos as its primary AI governance solution ahead of the regulatory deadline. Modulos, the first AI governance platform to achieve ISO 42001 certification, gave the team a structured environment to inventory every AI system across both its B2C portals and its B2B HR Tech and HR Services divisions, classify each one by risk tier, and build the documentation and oversight controls required for high-risk compliance.
