Accessibility Statement

Modulos is committed to making its website usable by as many people as possible, including users with disabilities. We design and test against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

Our standard

WCAG 2.2 AA is the international reference for web accessibility. It covers perceivability, operability, understandability, and robustness — concretely things like sufficient colour contrast, keyboard operability, descriptive link text, form labels, and content that works with assistive technology.

What we have done

We run automated accessibility testing against every public page of this website using axe-core 4.11, configured for the WCAG 2.0, 2.1, and 2.2 Level A and AA rule sets. Our most recent full-site sweep covered 66 public URLs and reports zero violations across the rules axe-core checks. The fixes covered colour contrast, missing form labels, keyboard-focusable scrollable regions, visually distinguishable links, and accessible names on icon-only controls.

What is still in progress

Automated tools detect roughly 20 to 50 per cent of accessibility issues. Full WCAG 2.2 AA conformance requires manual verification that automated tools cannot substitute for. The following areas are part of our ongoing accessibility work:

  • Manual keyboard navigation review — confirming tab order, visible focus indicators, modal focus traps, and skip links across every flow.
  • Screen reader testing — verifying NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver announce headings, landmarks, form errors, and dynamic content correctly.
  • Third-party expert audit and Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR/VPAT) — required before we publish a formal WCAG 2.2 AA conformance claim.
  • Older content sweeps — historic blog posts and resources may still contain images without descriptive alt text or other artefacts predating this work.

Known limitations

  • Embedded YouTube videos. The YouTube player UI is loaded from youtube.com and is not under our control. The embed itself includes a descriptivetitle attribute; the player's internal accessibility is YouTube's responsibility.
  • Third-party widgets. Where the site embeds third-party widgets (booking calendars, demo schedulers), accessibility behaviour depends on the provider.

Reporting an accessibility problem

If you find a part of this site that is difficult to use with assistive technology, or if you have suggestions for improving accessibility, please email us at contact@modulos.ai. Please include the page URL, what you were trying to do, and which browser and assistive technology you were using if relevant. We aim to respond within 10 business days.

Standards alignment

This statement is published in the spirit of the European Accessibility Act (Directive 2019/882) and US Section 508 expectations. We do not yet hold a third-party-issued conformance certificate; we will update this statement once one has been issued.
