Bias for Good: IEEE 7003 in Practice
Bias in AI is usually treated as a problem to fix. IEEE 7003, published in early 2025, takes a different view: bias is something to understand, measure, and steer. The standard gives AI teams a lifecycle-based framework for identifying stakeholders, building a bias profile, tracking drift, and documenting decisions. It is designed to fit into existing governance processes rather than add a new layer on top.
Join Julian Padget (University of Bath), Gerlinde Weger (In-Sight), and Andrea Basso (MITO Tech Ventures) in a conversation moderated by Kevin Schawinski (Modulos).
