With the recent introduction of the center for AI research the ETH Zurich is making another move in strengthening Zurich as a global hub for artificial intelligence and machine learning research.
The ETH Zurich recognizes AI as a crucial technology to tackle some of the biggest challenges humanity is facing. As such, the new center starting with 29 professors, a new executive director, and a fellowship programme is a clear commitment to continue investing into AI research in a collaborative effort. For this purpose, the newly founded center will also be part of the European AI research network ELLIS.
At Modulos AG we are proud that our Co-founder and ETH Assistant Professor Ce Zhang (ds3lab) is one of the 29 initial ETH professors being part of the center. Professor Zhang’s lab focuses its research on improving the usability of AI. He will continue influencing the development of Modulos AG as the Head of Research supporting us to implement cutting-edge AI research into our products and services to benefit our customers.
